In the Netherlands, Utrecht University (UU) has a lot of experience with one of the first academic development programs on Leadership for Educational Change in Europe. The participants are senior academics, involved as (informal) leaders in innovation of teaching and learning. One of the positive effects of this program is a community of practice that benefits educational change.
