<p>Bernhard Lange majored in Sociology of Religion, Old Testament Studies, and German as a Foreign Language, in Marburg, Germany. He proceeded to acquire a PhD in Sociology of religion at Lucerne, Switzerland. Since then he worked as coordinator for an inter-disciplinary and inter-universitary MasterĀ“s Degree course, as a special subject librarian at the University of Berne, Switzerland, and back at Lucerne as an academic student advisor. He is currently head of the Teaching Develpoment Center at the University of Lucerne, where he follows his passion in higher education. He is also the vice-president of the Swiss Faculty Development Network SFDN.</p>
