Qing Xia is the Senior Assistant Director of the Office of China Programs in the International Studies and Programs (ISP) of MSU. Educated in China and the U.S. she holds master degrees of English and American Studies from Sichuan University and Michigan State University. She has worked for Michigan State University (MSU) for more than 17 years as an academic specialist in administration and professional training programs. She has designed and supervised many successful professional development and training programs through collaborations with faculty members in many colleges and administrative units at MSU. Qing deeply cares about the Chinese international students. She has been a faculty advisor for the Chinese Student and Scholar’s Association (CSSA) at Michigan State University. She has advised many Chinese international students. Qing is currently pursuing doctoral degree in the Higher, Adult and Lifelong Education (HALE) Program in the College of Education of MSU. She has conducted research on Chinese international students in recent years.
