I am currently enrolled at UJ for my PhD and my doctoral thesis is entitled “Contemplating the heart of social justice in a Teacher Education Service Learning (TESL) module: A case study for using ‘troubling dialogues’ to teach social justice.”  

My research interests include contemplative scholarship and anti- oppressive teaching; teaching with a pedagogy of discomfort through an epistemology of love; exploring difficult knowledges through troubling dialogues
